Tends equipment to cook and mix syrup with popcorn, forming popcorn candy: Weighs, measures, adds, stirs, and cooks ingredients, such as corn syrup, butter, and water in open-fire cooker or steam-jacketed kettle according to formula and specified procedure. Dumps popped corn into bowl of mixing machine or other container. Pours syrup over corn and starts agitator to mix corn and syrup for specified time or until coating is complete. May tend molding press to form popcorn novelties or shapes, such as balls or fritters (disks).
