Quality-Control Inspector Job Description:
Examines cases of inspected glass containers to determine quality of inspection and packing: Removes sample of glass containers from shipping case and examines containers for defects, such as chips, cracks, and stones. Inspects cases for imperfections in packing, sealing, and printing. Marks rejected lots, using crayon or pencil, and returns defective work to packing department. Records findings on worksheet and computes percentage of defective containers.
